The Baichlstein is the local mountain of the Lechtal village of Stanzach. With its height of 1164 meters it is not a real mountain but a hill. The easy ascent and easy access make the Baichlstein a popular hiking destination. Baichlstein summit offers an excellent view of the wild river landscape of the lower Lechtal. The Baichlstein is an excellent view of the so-called “Lechzopf”. The hike to the Baichlstein takes about 1.5 hours from Stanzach. There is the possibility to hike along a forest path around Stanzacher's local mountain. A narrow path leads to the top of the Baichlstein.
