Bürstegg bei Warth
The Bürstegg is the name of a 1720 m high alpine village at the foot of the Karhorn mountain. Bürstegg is located between Lech am Arlberg and Warth, on the municipal territory of Lech am Arlberg. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the Bürstegg has no longer been permanently inhabited, but is used as a pasture during the summer months. Bürstegg alpine village can be reached from the main road via a gravel road about 3 km long. The difference in altitude to the starting point is about 300 m. A leisurely hike to the Bürstegg takes about 1 hour. The Bürstegg is not directly accessible from the Lechweg and can only be reached by a detour.
