Ehrenberg Castle is located at 1100 m south of the market town of Reutte. Ehrenberg Castle, Schlosskopf Fortress and Fort Claudia form a fortification system. The Ehrenberger Klause was and still is an important place on the trade route from north to south. The area can be explored on an extensive system of hiking trails.
