The 200 m long and 100 m wide Frauensee lies at 970 m above Lechaschau. It is located at the 125 km long Lechweg hiking trail from Lake Formarinsee to Lechfall waterfall. Lake Frauensee is idyllically situated in the forest and can be reached via a road from Lechaschau.
