Bockbachalm Almwirtschaft
Bockbach is a small alpine village at about 1460 m between Steeg and Warth. The hike begins at the Bockbach junction a few hundred meters above Hinterellenbogen, a district of Steeg. In summer there is a bus stop there. The trail follows an asphalted goods road and is not particularly steep. We pass the idyllic mountain settlement Birchetsgump. After about 1.5 hours you reach the Bockbach, and just over the bridge the settlement of the same name. On the way there you can experience a particularly flowery alpine landscape. In summer, you have the opportunity to try the famous Tyrolean alpine pasture food in one of the two alpine pasture taverns in Bockbach. The "Zur Gamsvroni" snack station is located about 500 meters away from the Bockbach alpine pasture.
