Bodenalm
The Bodenalm (also Bodenalpe) hut lies at about 1560 m above sea level in the Almajur valley and can be reached from alpine village Kaisers. The trail starts at the Almajurtal junction just above Kienberg (district of Kaisers) and can be reached with the hiking bus during summer. First part of the hike runs on an asphalted road past the hamlet of Boden. A short time later you cross the Kaiserbach and the road soon changes to a gravel road. The hike does not run too steeply through a forest. The alpine pastures of the Almajur valley is reached after a while. After about 1.5 hours of hiking you can see the Bodenalm hut, which lies picturesquely on the edge of the forest. The path to Leutkircher Hut and Erlachalpe alpine pasture leads past the Bodenalm hut.
