Hanauer Hut
The Hanauer Hut is situated at 1922 m in the Angerletal valley south of alpine village Boden/Bschlabs. The Alpine Club hut in the Lechtal Alps mountain range was completely renovated a few years ago. At the Hanauer Hut there are about 100 mattress dormitory places and several beds in shared rooms available. The easiest way to reach the Alpine Club hut is from alpine village Boden. From the Lechtal valley, at Elmen we head towards Hahntennjoch mountain pass, past Bschlabs. Hamlet of Boden at 1357 m is reached after 10 km. The ascent through the Angerletal Valley takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. The difference in altitude to the ground is almost 600 m above sea level. In the immediate vicinity of the Hanauer Hut are some of the most impressive peaks of the Lechtal Alps. Kogelseespitze peak, Dremelspitze peak and Parzinnspitze peak are only a few of them. South of the Hanauer Hut lies the Steinsee-Hut, which can be reached in about 2 hours via the front or the rear Dremelscharte. The famous Eagle Trail from St. Anton to St. Johann leads past the Alpine Club Hut. The Hanauer hut is open from the beginning of June to the beginning of October.
