The Lechtaler Hexenkessel is located at 1200 m in the Benglerwald district of Bach next to the rope way Jöchelspitzbahn valley station. The restaurant is rustic-style and offers a large terrace with a first-class view of the surrounding mountains and the lower situated Lechtal valley. Next to Lechtaler Hexenkessel the well-known Lechweg leads on the “Holzgau — Bach” stage. In summer, this is a popular place to stop for refreshments among the Lechweg hikers. The Lechtaler Hexenkessel can be reached on foot from Bach via the Klapf district in just under an hour. From Holzgau or Schönau it is easy to reach the Lechtaler Hexenkessel along the Lechweg stage in about two hours. Alternatively, you can reach the Lechtaler Hexenkessel with the hiking bus or with your own car. The bus stop and the parking lot are directly in front of the restaurant. The Lechtaler Hexenkessel is open in summer and winter. Wednesday is a day off, except in August.
