The Prinz Luitpold Haus is an Alpine Club hut of the German Alpine Association in the Allgäu Alps mountain range. It is located at 1846 m near the popular Hochvogel summit. The ascent to the Prinz-Luitpold-Haus from the Lechtal valley starts in alpine village Hinterhornbach. The ascent from there takes about 5 hours. Most popular peaks in the surrounding area is the 2592 m high Hochvogel. The Alpine Club hut has mattress dormitory places and beds in shared rooms. During the winter 16 mattress dormitory places are available in the winter camp. Only accessible with the alpine club key. Several climbing routes are also available near the Alpine Club hut at the Fuchskarspitze peak. The Prinz Luitpold Haus hut is open from June to mid-October.
