Punsch Hut
The 1850 m high Punsch-Hut is a popular hiking destination near Warth am Arlberg. The managed hut is open in summer as well as in winter. As a hiking destination, the Punsch-Hut is characterized above all by its easy accessibility and beautiful location. The Punsch-Hut has a large sun terrace with a view of the village of Warth and the impressive Biberkopf peak, which lies in the Allgäu Alps opposite. The easiest way to reach the Punsch-Hut in summer is from the top station of the Steffisalpbahn cable car. Ascent with the cable car reduces the hiking time to a comfortable 15 to 20 minutes. During summer season from the end of June to mid-October, the Steffisalp cable car runs daily in dry weather. The use of the Lechtal-Aktiv-Card and the Warth-Card is free of charge. Alternatively, the Punsch-Hut can also be reached on foot from Warth. A leisurely hike takes one and a half hours. The starting point in Warth can be easily reached by car or public transport. In the summer months, the hiking bus runs from the Lechtal to Warth several times a day. Free parking is also available to visitors at the valley station. In winter, the Punsch-Hut is located directly on the ski slope near the Wartherhorn cable car and is operated as a ski restaurant.
