Ravensburger Hut
The Ravensburger Hut is an alpine club hut in the Lechquellen Mountains. The Alpine Club Hut is located near lake Spullersee. It was built in 1912 and lies at an elevation of 1948 m below the Spuller Schafberg mountain. You can reach the Ravensburger Hut in different ways. The easiest one leads from Lech via Zug district with the hiking bus to the lake Spullersee and then on foot up to the hut. From Zug the path leads along a toll road, which is temporarily closed to traffic. Another opportunity also begins in Lech/Zug. In Zug, the well-developed path branches off towards Stierlochjoch mountain pass. After the first and steep section, the path leads up to the Stierlochjoch mountain pass on a moderate gradient. The last part is then descended to the Ravensburger Hut. The total walking time on this trail is about 2.5 to 3 hours. Ravensburger Hut offers about 100 camp sleeping places and some room places. The neighbouring huts of the Ravensburger Hut are the Ulmer Hut and the Stuttgarter Hut in the east and the Freiburger Hut in the west. It is normally open from mid-June to early October. The Ravensburger Hut is also a popular destination for mountain bikers.
