Stablalm

The Stablalm lies at 1412m and can be reached most easily from Elmen. The hike begins at the Stablalm car park, which is located above Elmen. The starting point can be reached either by car or with the hiking bus. Free parking spaces are available. The Stablalm can be reached via 2 routes. The first route is initially flat and leads along the gravel road, which starts directly at the Stablalm car park. Between the serpentines there are partly footpathic (unmarked) shortcuts. Follow the gravel road to the end. The last section of the path leads through a rock tunnel past the Stablalpe snack station (closed) a few minutes further on until you reach the Stablalm.
The second route leads over a narrow and steep path to the alp. The path starts directly at the car park before the gravel road begins and flows into the gravel road on 3/4 of the way. The trail requires surefootedness and sufficient physical condition. The trail is not recommended in wet conditions because of the danger of slipping. The hiking time is 1.5 hours on the gravel road and 1 hour on the trail. Another possibility for ascent is the Neerensteig from Stanzach to the Stablalm. Once you reach the alp, you will be rewarded with a fabulous view of the middle and upper Lech valley.
