Wase snack station
The Wase snack station is an excursion destination at 1293 m above Bach in the Lechtal valley. In addition to the lush mountain meadows, there is also a snack station on the Wasen. The hut is idyllically situated on a clearing. In front of the “Jausenstation Wase” there is a small pond for the ducks. The hike to the Wasen begins in Bach in the Lechtal valley. The starting point can be easily reached by car or by hiking bus. A number of free parking spaces are also available in the center of Bach. The first part of the path leads through Unterbach district in the direction of Grünau. A few meters after the last houses, the well-marked goods road branches off to Wasen. The hike runs along a gravel road south of Bach through the forest. Some clear spots offer a great view of Bach and the upper Lechtal. A fast hiker needs 45 to 60 minutes to reach the 250 meters above sea level. The snack station on the Wase is open in summer and winter. In winter a toboggan run runs on the way to Wasen. The “Jausenstation Wase” is open daily except Thursday during the summer. The gravel road on the Wasen is also very suitable for a mountain bike tour.
