Württemberger Haus
The Württemberger Haus is an Alpine Club hut in the Lechtal Alps mountain range. Württemberger Haus hut is located at 2220 m between Memminger Hut and Steinsee-Hut. It is operated by the German Alpine Association of the Stuttgart section. On the Württemberger Haus hut there are room dormitories, mattress dormitories and emergency dormitories. The Württemberger Haus can be reached from the Lechtal via the Madautal valley via the gravel road from Bach to alpine village Madau. A narrow path begins near Madau, which continues through the Röttal valley via Leiterjöchl mountain pass to Württemberger Haus. Another ascent starts in alpine village Gramais and leads over the Branntweinboden over the Bitterscharte to the finish. Ascent via Zams in the Upper Inn Valley is also possible. The neighboring huts of the Württemberger Haus hut are the Memminger Hut in the west, the Steinsee-Hut in the east and the Hanauer Hut in the northeast. The well-known Adlerweg alpine trail and the long-distance hiking trail E4 leads from Memminger Hut to Württemberger Haus hut and on via Steinsee-Hut to Hanauer Hut. Near the Württemberger Haus hut there are several climbing mountains in various difficulties. The Württemberger Haus hut is open from the beginning of July to mid-September.
