Autumn tour to the Bernhardseck
On one of the last beautiful autumn days we enjoyed the beautiful weather during a hike on the Bernhardseck. The tour was framed by golden larches, the first snow fields and an excellent view of the surrounding mountains. We started the hike in Bach im Lechtal. From there we ascended to the higher part of Klapf and then we went over the meadow and the Wiesenweg to the 1755 m high situated corner. Our destination, the Bernhardseck, is only a few minutes walk away and the trail leads over to the Bernhardeck huts on a moderate gradient. We need about two hours for the ascent of Bach. After a good bread and an extensive rest we went on the normal way over the Gibler Alm to Elbigenalp and back to Bach at the bottom of the valley.
