Hike up the Alps
The Älpele is a 1791 m high mountain pasture in the Lechtal Alps. The Hochalm lies in the Bochbach valley near Steeg in the Lech valley. The ascent to the Älpele is possible for advanced hikers along a narrow and steep path and takes about two and a half hours. Below the Älpele lies the Alpine village of Bockbach at an altitude of 1400 m. The hike to Bockbach takes about one and a half hours. (from the turnoff Bockbachtal / bus stop Wanderbus
