Bach - Wase
The Wasen is a 1290 m high area above Bach in the Lechtal valley. The tour is very well suited as a mountain bike route, as a gravel road leads there. The MTB tour starts in the centre of Bach im Lechtal, where you can park your car free of charge. The starting point can also be easily reached by hiking bus or mountain bike. The first part of the tour starts with crossing the Alperschonbach and continues through Unterbach. On the road in the direction of Grünau, 500 m from the town centre, a goods road branches off to the right. A gravelled road leads through the spruce forest on a slight to moderate gradient. Some clear spots along the path to Wasen offer an excellent view of the village of Bach and the upper Lechtal. After about 3 km and a difference in altitude of a little over 200 m you reach the Wasen. Once you reach your destination, you have the opportunity to stop at the Wase snack station. The snack station is open daily except Thursdays from mid-May to the end of October. The MTB tour to Wasen can be classified as easy. An experienced mountain biker needs 30 to 45 minutes for the easy way.
