Von Boden über das Gufelseejöchl nach Gramais
The starting point of this hike is the tranquil mountain village of Boden in the Bschlaber valley, a side valley of the Lechtal. At the southern border of Boden you will find a sign "Hanauer Hut". After crossing a bridge, you walk along a wide forest path into the Angerle valley to the south. After a few kilometres the track ends at the bottom station of the material cableway of the Hanauer-Hut. There the forest path leads into a narrow path. The trail immediately leads underneath an imposing rock face along meadows and mountain pines to the Hanauer Hut. After about two and a half hours you reach the Hanauer Hut. A few meters after the Hanauer hut the path forks and we hike further towards Gramais. The path leads over lush mountain meadows past the Parzinnalm-Hut. Afterwards we continue to the lower Parzinnsee and up to the 2373 m high Gufelseejöchl. Surrounded by a picturesque mountain scenery, one immediately sees the lower Gufelsee lake on the other side of the Gufelseejöchl. In the further course one walks over extensive grounds in the direction of Gramais down. Some rope-insured areas have to be mastered. Once you reach the bottom of the valley, you hike out of the valley along the Otterbach to the mountain village of Gramais. The total walking time from ground to Gramais is about 7 to 8 hours. During the summer months, a regular taxi/bus service runs several times a day from Gramais or Boden and the Lechtal. (Status: summer 2017, photos: Esther Kerber)
