Doser-Wasserfall
The Doser waterfall is a well-known waterfall near Häselgehr in the lower Lechtal. The waterfall is not known for its size, but that it disappears in November and begins to flow again in April. According to tradition, the Doser waterfall rises every year on April 23rd and closes again on November 11th. The mystery surrounding the Doser waterfall has not yet been finally solved. The hike to the mysterious Doser waterfall begins in Häselgehr near the church. The starting point can be easily reached by car or by hiking bus. There are also several parking spaces nearby. In front of the church in Häselgehr, the path branches off in the direction of Luxnach. After a few metres, a signposted goods road branches off to the left. After about a quarter of an hour hiking time you reach a bridge and the Doser waterfall. A few minutes above the Doser waterfall is the beautiful Doser chapel. There are also some park benches on which you can enjoy the excellent view of the lower Lechtal. There is the possibility to hike along the waterfall path to the waterfall of the waterfall Karspitze or to continue hiking along the high trail to Elmen. Alternatively, you can hike back to Häselgehr via the district of Luxnach. For a leisurely circular hike you should expect about one hour hiking time.
