Ehenbichl – Wängle
The 14th stage of the new Lechweg leads from Ehenbichl to Wängle. This stage is very short and can be mastered in a very short time. The stage ends near the valley station of the Hahnenkamm cable car. South of Ehenbichl lies the well-known Ehrenberg Castle at 1100 m. There is the possibility to visit the remains of the ruin Ehrenberg on an extensive network of paths. Furthermore a small show garden, which lies on the way between courts and Wängle, is worth a visit.
directions
From Ehenbichl it goes over the Lechtsteg to the northern bank of the Lech. From there the path goes through the Höfener district Platten and further along the Leimbach to Holz, a district of Wängle.
