Elmen - Bschlabs - Boden

This MTB tour leads from Elmen im Lechtal via Hahntennjoch-Landesstraße to Bschlabertal. The tour starts in the centre of Elmen at 980 m above sea level. The starting point in the lower Lechtal can be easily reached by car, bicycle or hiking bus. From Elmen you first drive up the Lechtal for a few hundred metres. A few hundred meters above Elmen, the Hahntennjoch-Landesstraße branches off to the left. The road in the direction of Hahntennjoch begins immediately on a moderate gradient. After this first steep section the road leads into the Bschlabertal valley with a slight gradient. At an altitude of 1300 m you reach Bschlabs, a district of the municipality Pfafflar. The 2nd part of the tour leads slightly uphill from Bschlabs to Boden. The MTB tour runs on a two-lane road and is also very suitable for racing bikes. It should be noted that the track is also very popular with motorcyclists. Especially on beautiful summer weekends there are many motorcyclists on the Hahntennjoch road. The distance from Elmen to Boden is 12 km and the difference in altitude between Elmen and Boden is about 400 m. There is the possibility to turn off shortly before the village Boden in the direction of Hahntennjoch. The tour from Elmen to the Hahntennjoch can be classified as medium due to the difference in altitude of over 900 m. Refreshment facilities are available in Bschlabs and Boden. Depending on weather conditions and time, a lot of (motorcycle) traffic must be expected!
