The 9th stage of the new Lechweg leads from Klimmbrücke near Elmen to Vorderhornbach. Vorderhornbach lies off the main road at the mouth of the Hornbach valley into the Lechtal. For some years there has been a natural swimming pond in Vorderhornbach, which is unique in the Lechtal.

This stage begins in the Elm district of Klimm. There are also some free parking spaces at the new Klimmbrücke. It immediately goes up again and along the northern valley side of the Lechtal to Martinau. From there the trail leads through the small village of Martinau to Vorderhornbach, where the 9th stage of the Lechweg ends.
