Feuerspitze
The 2852 m high Feuerspitze is located in the rear Kaisertal valley. The summit is one of the highest in the Lechtal Alps. The red rock face facing north below the summit gives the Feuerspitze its name. Despite its height, the Feuerspitze is relatively easy to climb and particularly popular with summiters looking for views. From Kaisers the ascent leads in the direction of the Kaiseralm. From there you continue down into the valley to the Stierlahnzugjoch and on to the summit of the Feuerspitze. For better orientation there are cairns in some places. Some of the markings are not very visible or no longer present at all. The ascent from Kaisers takes about 5 hours. Particularly worth seeing are the flower-rich mountain meadows in the rear Kaisertal. The well-known neighbouring peaks of the Feuerspitze are the Holzgauer Wetterspitze separated by the Fallenbacherjoch, the Fallenbacherturm and the Fallenbacherspitze in the east and the Vorderseespitze in the south. Northeast below the summit lie the remains of a glacier, the Fallenbachferner. In the direction of the Kaisertal the strikingly large debris deposits are characteristic of the Feuerspitze. The Feuerspitze is also a popular summit for ski tourers. An ascent to the summit is also possible from Stockach via the Simms-Hut. The mountain tour to the Feuerspitze requires good physical condition, alpine experience, no fear of heights and sure-footedness.
