Forchach – Weißenbach am Lech
The 12th stage of the Lechweg leads from Forchach to Weißenbach am Lech. The original course of the river Lech is still particularly well preserved during this stage. The extensive gravel banks on the banks between Forchach and Weißenbach reach widths of several hundred metres. Many rare animal and plant species can be found in this area. Below the Johannes Bridge is an excavator lake, which is suitable for swimming in summer. However, the water is very cold due to the supply line from the Lech.
