Grießkopf

The Grießkopf is a 2581 m high peak of the Lechtal Alps. The summit lies in the Wetterspitz and Fallesing Group east of the Kaiserjochhaus. The direct ascent starts at the Kaiserjochhaus. Continue in the direction of Ansbacher Hut to the southern ridge of Grießkopf. From there, a path runs up a constant gradient in rocky terrain to the summit of the Grießkopf. The walking time from the Kaiserjochhaus is about 60 minutes. South of the summit slope the E4 runs in the direction of Ansbacher Hut. East of the Grießkopf lies the Hintersee. From Kaisers the walk to the Grießkopf takes about 4 hours. Stepping safety is required.
