The asphalted road begins immediately with a moderate gradient, but becomes flatter again after about 1 km. After about 7 km driving along the left side of the Gramaisertal valley you reach the village of Riefen and a further kilometre further on the mountain village of Gramais. In Gramais there is the possibility to stop at the Gasthof Alpenrose. The inn is open daily during the summer from mid-May to mid-October, except Mondays. The difference in altitude between the starting point and the finish is 350 metres. The MTB tour to Gramais can be classified as easy to moderate.
