Hahnleskopf
The Hahnleskopf is a 2210 m high grass mountain in the Lechtal Alps. The summit is 2 km northwest of the centre of Kaisers. The Hahnleskopf is known for its easy ascent and quick accessibility. Although the summit with its 2210 m is one of the lowest mountains in the area, it offers a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding peaks. The tour to the summit starts in Kaisers at the Edelweisshaus. The starting point at 1530 m can be easily reached by hiking bus or by car. During the summer season the hiking bus runs several times a day to the side valley community. In Kaisers at the Edelweißhaus a trail begins, which leads in a northerly direction. After a few minutes walking time you reach a mountain pine forest and above it the "Wilder Kaiser". The "Wilder Kaiser" refers to the settlement of several hay pills at the tree line. A few minutes on foot above the hay pills runs an overgrown steep path directly to the summit (partly without a path) If you don't like it so steep, you can ascend via the normal path to Mutte and then to Hahnleskopf. For a tour from Kaisers to Hahnleskopf an experienced climber needs 90 to 120 minutes. Due to its special location, the Hahnleskopf is particularly popular with ski tourers in winter. In late summer, a mountain fair takes place every year at the summit of Hahnleskopf.
