Kaiserjochhaus – Ansbacher Hut
The Kaiserjochhaus is the name of an alpine club hut at 2310 m above sea level on the Kaiserjoch of the same name near Kaisers. A descent or ascent to Kaisers via the Kaiseralpe and the Kaisertal into the Lechtal is also possible there. The Ansbacher Hut is located at 2376 m near the Samspitze. The connecting path between the Alpine Club huts starts quite flat, it goes in eastern direction over the Kridlonscharte past Hintersee to Hinterseejöchl. Below Hinterseejöchl the path to the Simms-Hut branches off in a northerly direction. The path now continues over the 2482 m high Hinterseejöchl in a rather steep descent to Vordersee and further along the Theodor-Haas-Weg to the 2303 m high Alperschonjoch. There are some steep gullies to walk along, some of which are quite demanding even for experienced mountaineers. Inexperienced people should only go this way in the company of a mountain guide. At the Alperschonjoch you have the possibility to climb up or down into the Alperschon valley and further to Bach. The further way to the Ansbacher hut leads over the Flarschjoch between the Samspitze and the Stierköpfl to the finish. At the Alperschonjoch you have the possibility to take the path over the summit of the 2624 m high Samspitze. The walk from the Kaiserjochhaus to the Ansbacher Hut takes about 4 to 5 hours. Alpine experience, freedom from vertigo and surefootedness are absolutely necessary for an ascent! (also easy climbing)
