The Malatschkopf is a 2388 m high peak in the Lechtal Alps. The mountain lies east of the Kaiserjochhaus on the way to Ansbacher Hut. The direct ascent to Malatschkopf starts at the Kaiserjochhaus. From there, the first section runs along the E4 in the direction of Ansbacher Hut. After a few hundred metres the path branches off to the south. The second section runs along a ridge in rocky terrain to the summit. Partially a rope insurance is available. You must be sure-footed and free from giddiness. The summit offers a great view over the Stanzer valley. The walking time is about 30 minutes from the Kaiserjochhaus. From Kaisers you can expect about 3.5 hours for the ascent.
