Rotschrofenspitze
Rotschrofenspitze is a 2588 m high peak in the Lechtal Alps. The mountain lies between the Grießtalerspitze and the Gufelspitze. The easiest way to reach the top of Rotschrofenspitze is from Kaisers. The mountain tour starts in Kaisers at the Edelweisshaus. In Kaisers there are also some free parking spaces, also the hiking bus stops several times a day in Kaisers. From Kaisers we zigzag up through the forest in the direction of Mutte. Above the Mutte the path branches off towards Falmedonjoch. The path runs through a high valley in a steep grass flank to the Falmedonjoch. At Falmedonjoch we continue along the southern ridge to the top of Rotschrofenspitze. The ridge is partly exposed. Alternatively, an ascent via the Rotschrofenkopf and the Westgrat is also possible. On the way back you can take the summit of Hahnleskopf with you without much extra effort. Stepping safety, alpine experience and freedom from dizziness are prerequisites for climbing the Rotschrofenspitze. The summit should only be climbed in dry weather, as very steep grass flanks have to be crossed or climbed.
