Stanzach – Forchach
The 11th stage of the new Lechweg leads from Stanzach to Weißenbach. Stanzach is a municipality in the lower Lechtal at the mouth of the Namlosertal. The village is located on the right bank of the Lech between Vorderhornbach and Forchach. From Stanzach you can reach the famous Almdorf Fallerschein. There are more than 40 log houses in the Fallerschein, but most of them now serve as holiday homes. Parking is free in the centre of Stanzach. The starting point can also be easily reached with the hiking bus.

Directions
From Stanzach it goes through the Lechauen along the right side of the valley further downhill. The original course of the Lech river is still particularly well preserved here. The Lechweg leads through the extensive Lechauen to Forchach, the lowest municipality in the Tyrolean Lechtal. Near Forchach there is a suspension bridge over the Lech river which is more than a hundred years old and worth a visit. This stage of the Lechweg ends in the centre of Forchach.
