Along the national road from Steeg to the mountain village of Kaisers. From the village centre in Steeg to the Dickenauer Bridge, then continue towards Kaisers. With a few exceptions, the road is on a constant gradient. In Kienberg it gets flat on a few hundred meters. On a distance of about 5 km a height difference of about 450 m is covered.
