Wanderweg von Elmen nach Bschlabs/Boden
The hiking trail to Boden/Bschlabs leads from Elmen on the right side of the Bschlaber valley to Boden. The trail is part of the famous Tyrolean Eagle Trail. The trail begins to the left of the main road shortly after the bridge over the Streinbach. From here, a moderate gradient along a forest path leads into the forest. After the first bend the path turns into the Bschlaber valley, here it also becomes a little flatter. The hiking trail runs along the right flank of the valley into the Bschlab valley. After about 4 km you reach a turning point and a narrow steep path begins, but after a few metres it becomes flatter again. After about one kilometre you reach the Umsinnerbach, which you cross on a pedestrian bridge and shortly afterwards another forest road begins. After some time the Streinbach is crossed and the new footpath to Boden begins. After about 3 hours hiking time you reach the mountain village Boden. Shortly before the bridge you have the possibility to hike to Bschlabs along the up to 45 m deep Hölltal gorge.
